Certification
groups in enterprise systems and architecture offer programs for individuals
and teams. Some organizations, such as the Open Group IT Architect
certification program, do not require traditional exams. Applicants may be
required to submit a skills-based resume for review or to participate in an
individual or group project.
A
private consulting firm, iCMG Enterprise Architecture has a two-step
verification process in which an architecture course is followed by a two-hour
online test and a second series based on a case study. The resulting
certificate is the certified software architect.
