Apple today released a program for MacBook Pros that fixes some laptops with distorted video or non-video games for free.
The deal, which Apple has called a "repair extension
program," could end years of complaints from MacBook Pro owners about
faulty videos, black or coded screens, and a sudden restart. The complaints
sparked at least two federal lawsuits and launched an extensive campaign on
Change.org asking CEO Tim Cook to fix it.
